Today, we’re bringing GPT-Image-2.6 to Codex and the API.
Image-2.6 Flare and Sunburst, our two new API image models, generate images 50% faster than before.
At medium or high quality, Sunburst keeps details more consistent from one edit to the next.

Bring a still character, sprite, or mascot to life as a looping GIF for a video, game, or app.
Start with the artwork and describe the motion you want. Try a wave, a double take, or a victory dance that loops back to the starting pose.

You can now send a marked-up image to the API to show exactly where you want an edit.
For most edits, start with low complexity. If a scene has several elements or constraints to juggle, try medium or high to give the model more room to plan.
Set image quality separately for the level of detail you need.
